We arrived at the hospital at 4:50am on Sunday, March 29th. It was two weeks earlier than we had expected and much more exciting. I had to have an emergency c-section delivery. I was really impressed that Cody did not get sick during the delivery. He doesn't have the strongest stomach around and does not do well with needles or blood. After watching his reaction to some of the Lamaze videos I was a little worried, but he did fantastic. I could not have done it without his support.
Cody was trying to keep me laughing because I was very scared. This is him in his official scrub top and hat. It was hilarious to watch him try to squeeze into the too small scrubs.
Ready for delivery! For those of you that can't tell from the picture, I am sporting a lovely case of pink eye. Just another kink in our unexpected delivery.
Here is our little boy - Brandon Matthew Adams. He arrived at 6:41am on Sunday, March 29th.
He sure was mad, but I loved the sound of him crying!
Brandon weighed 6lbs 4oz and was 19 1/4 in long. My first thought was he looks just like Cody. After the swelling went down though, everyone decided he looks more like Mommy.

While we were not anticipating the speed of Brandon's arrival, we are elated to have him here and healthy.
