Caught Up - Finally!!!

33 Weeks: November 9 - 15
So three post later, I am finally caught up with a vow to get behind in the near future. While I would love to say I will keep updating, the awful truth is I will just try!
SITTING UP!!!!!
Brandon has finally decided to sit up and stay up. Brandon has not been particularly fond of sitting up in general well ever. He has preferred to "taco" himself, by resting his stomach on the floor. Well, those days seem to be over. Brandon is now sitting by himself!! We are so excited! He is a little cautious about reaching for things that are not an easy grab, but he is really doing so good. We went a little crazy capturing the big moments. Enjoy!
Sitting up!

Looking around.

Wow, I am really good at this!

Too much sitting.
Now it is time for my favorite part of the day -- playing with Daddy!

Me and Pup are playing with Daddy!

Hey what is this?

Snugglebugs!

More playing!

The two cutest boys!

Mommy and Me

This video is really funny! Sorry it is so dark.

Standing Tall

32 Weeks: November 2 - 8
We don't have very many pictures for this week due to battery issues with the camera. We haven't made it to the store to buy camera batteries and have been stealing the batteries from the remote. (It is truly pathetic.)
Brandon loves standing so we thought we would see if he would like standing up in his crib. Well the answer is ........
YES!

I am so big!

I am so cute!

Standing went well for the most part.

31 Weeks

31 Weeks: October 26 - November 1
Mommy and Daddy took advantage of a long weekend this week. I had a free day of substituting from my student teacher and Cody had a funeral to attend on Friday, so we made a weekend of it. We went to Hearne on Thursday night and went to the funeral on Friday. After that, Grammy picked Brandon and me up and we headed back to Houston for a baby shower (crazy, I know). Meanwhile, Cody and Pops went to the deer lease. We have been able to visit my parents more in the last few weeks, which is great! I really miss being this far from them, and I know they love seeing Brandon.
Brandon's tooth was really showing and you can see the beginnings of another one on the other side. He is really drooling up a storm. Brandon's smile is absolutely precious with his tiny teeth. I think two is fine for now.

See my little tooth now!

Brandon got really hot at the funeral, so we had to head to the car for him to cool off.

Look at me, I'm a big boy.

I love his big smile.

Check out my skills!

Uh, Mommy I am trying to keep my eyes on the road!

Happy Halloween!
We had really high hopes for a costume for Brandon, but the weather was just too stinking hot! Everything they had for the little one was made of felt or something sweltering!!! They should think about that. We just opted for a pumpkin onesie and matching hat. I think it looks cute.

P.S.-I did not take a full body shot, because by the time Halloween rolled around Brandon was too long for his outfit!!!

I look so cute!

Super smiley!

Hey, this is my first Halloween!

Brandon likes to spend his Sundays relaxing and watching the game, just like Daddy!
Can you move? You are in the way of the T.V.!

Yeah, it is tough being a baby.

Number Three

30 Weeks: October 19 - 25
Post Number 3 - And all in one day!
Brandon likes to watch Mickey's Clubhouse while I load the car. For some reason, it really keeps his attention. I don't know if it is the colors or the songs or what, but he loves it. And of course, Pup, his little puppy dog, loves it too.

Smiling 'cause I am going to see Grammy and Pops.

Oh, I am so excited.
And I have my first tooth. Can you see it poking out just a little?

It is such a long way!

My giant Razberry. This is a teething pacifier. Brandon does not particularly like it. When you put it in his mouth, he tries to blow it out and only ends up pushing out his cheeks. It is still really cute.

Geez, this thing is big.

Sneak a peek at my new "toofus".

Can you see it good Mommy?

Ready to power shop.

Brandon and Lexi

Testing out our Halloween outfit!

Round Two

29 Weeks: October 12 - 18
Two posts in one day, must be a full moon!
Somehow this week got away from us and we did not have very many pictures. Don't you hate when you realize after the fact, you should have taken more pictures.
We received an unexpected package in the mail from Aunt Lacie! We got the cutest skull cap and 1st Halloween bib! He loved it! Thanks Lacie for thinking of Brandon.
I am just going to be cute for Halloween!

I sure am darling!

Uh, Daddy. You left the tag on. I look like Minnie Pearl (Hee-haw reference).

Yep, it is definitely a good thing Mommy already taught me to read.

Looking to see if it is a Hallmark!

My smily boy.

Just us!

And of course, I have to include one silly sleeper.

Seriously Thinking About Being a Vegetarian

28 Weeks: October 5 - 11
So I am making some ground when it comes to catching up. This week we decided to move from stage 1 fruits and veggies, to ....... meat! This included a delightful selection of turkey, beef, and chicken. It smelled terrible and looked even worse. You know how they say that motherhood is a lot of trial and a little bit of error. Well, introducing Brandon to meat was an error - a lot of error. I don't know why it did not occur to me to mix it with something sweet. Oh well, here are some funny pictures of Brandon's first bites of beef. YUM!
We will start the meal with an appetizer of prunes.

Ready for some beef!

OH, THIS STUFF IS TERRIBLE!!!

OH, GOSH! SHE HAS MORE!

THIS HAS GOT TO BE SOME FORM OF
CHILD ABUSE!!!!!!

Brandon held all of the beef in his mouth (he camouflaged them in his big cheeks) then after the last bite -- spit it ALL out! So much for him enjoying hamburgers.
Never Again!
Finally some pictures of Brandon and Mommy!

So Big!
Brandon loves to stand. Grammy thinks he will walk before he ever decides to crawl.

So cute. I love his face.
