The Cutest Stuff Ever!

25 Weeks: September 14 - 20
Brandon is doing so well eating his solid foods. We have made it through about half of the veggies and have even ventured beyond rice cereal to oatmeal, which he loves!!!! We can see his opinion coming out when he is eating though. You definitely know when he is done. We tried feeding him naked to help cut down on clean-up, but it did not work as well as we had hoped.
Yummy oatmeal.

And that's enough.

We gave Brandon an empty paper towel roll one evening while we were cleaning up the kitchen. He had a blast with it. We were laughing so hard that we were crying. He chewed on it - both sides, and then started screaming into the end. The first time he was surprised, then the second he was hooked. When we finally took the soggy mess away, he was furious. He cried and stared at the trashcan for a few minutes.

This is the most fun I have had in 5 months!!!

So good!

This is when the 'tub screaming' commenced. Hilarious!

We flipped it around when it got too soggy.
I promise this is the cutest thing you have ever seen. Brandon even says 'Da-da' at about 43 seconds! Daddy is so proud!

P.S. - I am really proud of myself for figuring out how to get this on here!

Carrots a la carte!
Messy Goodness - Brandon loves him some carrots!

Super full and super messy!

Warning: Serious Farmer Work Below
Brandon adores his 'farm'. He reminds me of his Pops, always talking to his animals.
Um, I am doing some serious farmer stuff Daddy!

I love my pig!

So happy!

Hey, what are you doing down here?

Reading already! Genius!

And now licking my book! It was a tasty story.

Deep concentration - I am not sure what it is about this farm that makes him concentrate so intently.

You know good times are being had when there is this quantity of drooling going on.

Eating my horsey.

Getting a little frustrated 'cause my horsey is not cooperating.

Bad horsey!

Fun time with my Daddy!

Just playing on the floor.

Even More Catching-Up

24 Weeks: September 7 - 13

Brandon has begun some very odd sleeping habits. I think he gets it from his father. He will wedge himself in the corners of the crib, smoosh his face against the bumper pad, shimmy under his 'sleep sheep', and sleep with his legs straight up in the air. Oh my son is so funny!!!

Legs up!
So cute!
Brandon has also fully discovered eating his feet! He loves to chew on his toes and will even struggle until he gets his socks off, just to get a nibble.
Yummy toes!

Who knew babies were this flexible?

Excuse me, I am snacking here!

Dominick is on the seventh grade football team. We all went to his first game. He is playing the corner back position.
Dominick is number 42.
Getting ready!
Aunt Margaret and Brandon got in some good bonding time at the game. We were so glad that Aunt Kristina and Uncle Evan got to come too.
Look at Brandon's goofy face. He has started doing this weird thing with his tongue where he pushes his bottom lip out and then just lets the drool start flowing! He looks so silly!!!!
This is an up close picture of the goofy face!
Finally a nice picture of Aunt Margaret and Brandon.
This was just too sweet! I love this picture.
Brandon has started getting so excited when you peek over the crib rails after a nap. He straightens his legs completely, smiles, and squeals all at the same time. It is absolutely adorable!!!
Happy Boy!
This outfit is a little tight Mommy! Check out the super straight legs!

Another New Dining Adventure: Squash
Getting ready for squash.
Um, it has a unique texture and flavor!

Still deciding!

Um, that is enough Mommy!
While it took some time, Brandon now really does like his squash.
